I too did a paper round for Glad Cook of Sun Street ,did Rounton rd and Eastbrook rd. yes as you said it was easy wth two doors close together. That was in 1954 !!

my house was built in 1901 and it's on this pic, so 1890 is a bit off.

I used to do my paper round down this street in year 1983/1984, it was one of the better streets to do, because lots of them you could lean over the wall and save time walking up the paths. I used to do the next street too, cant remember the name of that one???
